At Jungheinrich New Zealand we are committed to keeping our fleet in the best possible conditions. We provide you with the cost effective lease and rental fees. Fair wear and tear reflects the condition of the truck resulting from normal use and operation. So damage caused by misuse, recklessness or neglect has to be covered by the customer who caused it. 

The New Zealand Forklift Industry Association have produced a guide that shows the most typical forms of wear and tear sustained by material handling equipment. This fair wear and tear guide details the required return condition of forklift trucks after a period of Contract Hire in this type of application.

Additionally, the guide includes recommendations on how to reduce your exposure to these problems. We highly recommend going through this document prior to taking delivery of your forklift.
